The study field can be split into 3 three disciplines: public international law, private international law and supranational law. International law has a broad spectrum of issues. It deals with the legal interactions between nations, companies, governments, assuring their proper rights. National law becomes international law when national jurisdiction is delegated to supranational tribunals by treaties. The main substantive fields of international law are: international economic law, international security law, international criminal law, international environmental law, diplomatic law, international humanitarian law, international human rights law and international law of war.
