The Bachelor degree programm is a three year course, which aims at providing students with the best possible business education, including both theory and practice. The first three semesters are intended to teach students the basic key areas of business consultancy, the third semester being an optional time spent at one of the University of Applied Sciences´partner universities abroad. In the fourth and fifth semester, students are required to choose one of two field of specialization:
* IMS: International Marketing and Sales
* IAF: International Accounting and Finance
The sixth and final semester is an internship of approximately five months. This semester of work experience gives students the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt.
Students are required to take classes in certain key areas before specializing in one of the two business consultancy fields. The key areas include: Accountancy, Business Administration, Buiness Law, Economics, Business Consultancy, Communication Skills, Information Technology, Scientific Methodology and Languages.
Courses: Attendance is compulsory for all courses. All classes take place from Monday to Friday starting at approximately 8:00 a.m., Personal Development seminars may be blocked on Saturdays or outside of term times.
Examinations: All courses must be completed with a positive result by the end of the semester following the course. Non-completion will result in termination of studies. Attendance at examinations is compulsory. In general, every student has three attempts per course to pass an examination.

Internship: The sixth and final semester of the Bachelor degree programme is a mandatory internship of no less than three months duration. This work experience must be completed in an English speaking business environment, which the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt will assist to find. The internship is intended to give students an opportunity to experience corporate life, as well as an insight into a working area that might be of particular interest to them.
Exchange semester: BCI students are encouraged to take the opportunity to study abroad in their 3rd semester. The University has 60 established partner universities around the world, from Australia to America, offering our students exceptional exchange opportunities. At the partner university students will complete an academic programme similar to that offered in Wiener Neustadt.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Additionally proof of proficiency in English is also required. The following cerificates are recognised and must be submitted on the first day of registration at the latest:
* Business English Certificate (BEC) Higher
* Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
* International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band 6.5 or higher
* TOEFL IBT, minimum score 110
Application Procedure: Please send the completed application form with copies of the required documents as well as a letter of motivation written in English. You will then be invited to the entrance examination which consists of a standardised general aptitude test, an English language test and a personal interview in English.
