Industrial engineers are trained to design modern business operations. You come across the results of their work inside efficient banks, fast-food restaurants, hospitals, in advanced manufacturing plants, in telecommunications, and in the world-wide shipping industry. Theme-parks, chemical plants, airlines, oil refineries, seaports and military operations today rely on planning and design founded on the principles of industrial engineering. Courses in Business management, mathematics, physics and mathematical statistics, operations research, ergonomics and workplace-psychology, industrial economics, quality and reliability engineering and production engineering will help you apply these principles to situations of varying sizes. Even small family businesses can benefit greatly from the techniques and skills of the industrial engineer. One semester of studies will be completed at Campus Bangkok in partnership with the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. After graduating from this programme, you will get the degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Industrial Engineering - specialisation International Business Engineering.

The second semester (spring) in study year 2 will be carried out on Campus Bangkok at the AIT in Thailand.

Learning modes

Your learning is supported and guided by traditional lectures, solving realistic problems, case-studies as well as group projects that require project management, reporting, presentation and the integration of knowledge from different fields. The thesis work should be performed in an international business setting.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
