With Business Engineering you combine technology and commerce. The study program consists of Electronic engineering and marketing with possible options for some mechatronics related subjects.
Next to a broad knowledge of technology you also need to know a lot how business processes work and how the market looks like. Technology related subjects, marketing and business economics are integrated in the study program.
As a future Business engineer you will be able to apply technology and commerce related knowledge. Business engineering includes all activities that are necessary to develop and maintain an independent line of business. It is comparable with starting a business, but includes the novel component. That means that there is no core market yet and market opportunities need to be created.
