In view of the growing environmental problems of waste materials, water pollution and noxious exhaust gases, and the resulting impacts on our quality of life, environmental engineering is becoming an increasingly important subject; it is now a key technology for the future and – in economic terms – a significant growth industry of international dimensions.
Students in this program have to choose between two specializations:
SPECIALIZATION ENERGY ENGINEERING: Graduates with a specialization in Energy Engineering typically deal with a wide variety of processes, from conventional power plant engineering to energy conversion and decentral energy supply systems. The specialization in Energy Engineering caters for these market requirements by communicating the relevant knowledge and skills with a combination of in-depth teaching and practical applicability.
SPECIALIZATION ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES: Graduates with a specialization in Environmental Technologies may be called upon to handle a wide variety of environmental engineering processes, from air and water pollution control to recycling and alternative energy carriers. They are capable of analyzing environmental pollutants and employing the results to develop technical solutions to reduce the impacts on soil, air and water. They may also be responsible for monitoring plants and ensuring compliance with the relevant laws.
Technical and scientific degree program in process engineering with specialization options in the innovative fields of energy engineering and environmental technology. Scientific training with an international focus and a strong practical orientation thanks to close cooperation with trade and industry.
The program accepts
