The BA (Hons) Public Relations with Marketing course has a vocational focus based upon a foundation of essential public relations and marketing principles. At all levels of the course, you will be encouraged to develop effective skills and techniques for writing, editing, media relations, internal communications and communication
technology. You will also gain an understanding of how marketing impacts upon the wider organisation.

You will specialise in public relations (75% of the time) and study marketing as a secondary subject (25%). The course has a vocational focus to help you succeed in the thriving PR and marketing industries.

Level 2

During level 2 you will have the opportunity to study a range of modules from both the Public Relations and Marketing areas.

Level 3

During level 3 you will have the opportunity to study a range of modules from both the Public Relations and Marketing areas.

IELTS

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

UCAS Points: 260 UCAS tariff points, 160 points must be obtained from at least 2 GCE A Levels or equivalent.

Required GCSEs: English Language and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent.

International Baccalaureate: 26 points

IELTS: 6.0 or equivalent (for students whose first language is not English).

Mature and other non-standard applicants with few formal qualifications but appropriate experience may also be considered. This will be assessed on an individual basis.
