The duration of the programme is three years and consists of compulsory, semi-compulsory and free chosen subjects.
In the first year students will get acquainted with subjects such as:
* General and Special Botany
* Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry
* Geology
* Zoology
* Fundamentals of Microbiology
* Applied Mathematics
* Physics
* Statistics
* Basics of Meteorology
The second year´s curricula comprise subjects such as:
* Agricultural Systems
* Soil Sciences
* Plant Production and Environment
* Animal Production and Environment
In the third year students get acquainted with:
* Fundamentals of Turf and Lawn Management
* Landscape Architecture
* Cartography (including GIS)
* Forestry Management
* Agricultural Economics
* Orchard and Urban Landscaping
* Fundamentals in Genetics.
Studies are concluded with the elaboration and defence of a Bachelor Thesis. Examinations are usually held over a 5-week period, immediately after the end of the 14-week course period. Most examinations are both oral and written and last approximately 3 hours. Students are allowed to present themselves at a maximum of 3 examination sessions. Examinations in courses offered in English are held in English. Alternatively the assessment can be based on individual or group project work evaluation. The project report allows the student to work in-depth on one topic through lectures, group work, laboratory research and field / on-job experience. Depending on the course unit and its position in the curriculum the supplementary assessment can be conduced either by an internal or external examiner to ensure that the project is evaluated fairly and properly. Project works must be written in English.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
