These three tracks also have common general objectives. First, to enable students to be able to apply the new information and communication technologies in the various areas in which they work; to enable them to undertake independent learning of new knowledge and new techniques; to enable them to work as part of a team; to provide them with the necessary skills to be able to solve the problems related with their field of study, and to ensure that their learning includes the values of social justice and equal opportunities for everyone.
The course retains the necessary multidisciplinary nature that has traditionally been a feature of the Labour Relations degree at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, consistent with an understanding that labour relations within a business depend not only on regulations, but also on other areas that must be ascertained, such as business organisation, human resources management, sociology and occupational psychology, and the financial aspects of the use of work as a factor in a business. Other features of the Labour Relations course are an assessment system that enables students to improve their organisation of their study habits; to use the strategies and teaching tools defined in the course syllabus - which provide information for students on the contents of the subject and the activities schedule from the first day of classes; to guarantee quality in their external internship; to have high standards of education and to be sure of the excellence of our teaching staff, as well as the professionalism of our administration and services staff; to be sure of quality in the mobility programmes; to have access to new technologies, and to make use of excellent facilities, in which students can study individually and work as part of a group, in a context of a high level of student satisfaction in terms of the training received and a high work placement rate for graduates in Labour Relations from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
