This semesterised programme provides a route of entry to professional careers in the print media industry which incorporates print and packaging. The print media sector is indigenous to Ireland and is traditionally a large employer. It is a technology driven sector which supports multi national activity as well as local industries.
The programme uses a flexible learning approach and encourages professional, managerial, technical and operations skills development. Various learning approaches are employed including problem based learning, team work, industrial visits, laboratory work and guest lectures.
