This degree programme offers a challenging opportunity for those individuals who wish to pursue a career in management in the hospitality industry. This dynamic course provides a future orientated and industry focused curriculum. Final year students will have the opportunity to follow a specialised stream in one of the following areas: Food and Beverage Management, Rooms Division or Conference and Event Management.
Year One
Applied Communications 1 & 2, Computer Applications , Economics, Food and Beverage Studies, Fundamentals of Accounting , Introduction to Rooms Division Management, Hospitality Industry Studies, Food & Beverage Culinary Theory, Languages, Management 1, Marketing.
Year Two
Human Resource Management, Languages , Management 2, Management Accounting - Costing and Decision Making. In the second semester students undertake a Professional Internship.
Year Three
Data Analysis, Enterprise Development, Financial Accounting, Hospitality Law I, Information Systems, Management Accounting - Planning and Control, Strategic Management and 5 Options
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
