International Environment and Development Studies is an interdisciplinary field where academic depth is achieved through insight into different but complementary fields.
The study programme seeks first to develop basic knowledge within different disciplines, such as social anthropology, sociology, ecology, economics, resource management and earth science, and then to analyze development issues in an interdisciplinary way.
