As a student you will focus on the interface between Chemistry and Biology, in subject areas that overlap with the pre-clinical years of a medical degree. You will acquire a valuable skills set, including team working, problem solving, computer literacy and presentation skills. A key element of the programme is the opportunity to undertake a six-month industrial work placement which will give you a significant insight into the industry and improve your career prospects. A previous knowledge of Chemistry is not essential to enrol for this course.
