A leading independent television and radio production company, will deliver part of the course. You will gain practical experience in a professional studio environment, learning to master computing and programming, cameras and sound recording equipment, and web design and interactive authoring. You will also study the social, cultural, and human implications of new media and the computer science that underly them.
As the creation of multimedia content is often collaborative, you will be encouraged to work on practical projects in groups, developing team-building and networking skills. You will develop your individual creativity, rooted in theoretical reflection and a solid skills base.
Multimedia is taken as a Single Honours Bachelor of Science degree.
In First Year, students take Multimedia, Mathematics, and one other subject from Biology, Chemistry, Experimental Physics, Mathematical Physics.
Students who do not wish to continue with the BSc Multimedia after First Year may transfer to MH201, continuing with Computer Science, Mathematics, and their other Science subject.
In Second, Third, and Fourth Year, students take Multimedia topics only. In Third Year, students must complete a full-year work placement.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6, if not they may take our International Foundation Course. Minimum English language requirement for the IFC is IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.
