This programme is offered over one and a half academic years. The programme is organised in a modular structure and also requires students to work on a scientific project. The modular format will be attractive to prospective students and to employers. Specific modules may be taken by graduates as part of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
The aim of the programme is to provide education and training for graduates with good grades in BSc Ordinary and General Degrees or Diploma/Technician Diploma programmes Level 7 (NQAI), enabling such graduates to achieve an Honours BSc Degree qualification Level 8 (NQAI). The subjects offered will provide graduates with exciting opportunities in medical and molecular cytology.
Candidates will be required to undertake 12 compulsory modules. These modules comprise biochemistry, molecular biology (three modules), applied immunology, cellular pathology, pathophysiology and epidemiology (two modules), clinical cytology (two modules), biomedical science and professional studies/bioethics.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
