The program is addressing to undergraduate students having a good command of English and interested in a particular part of business administration. The first three semesters are common for all the specializations and, from the fourth semester students are offered three directions of study: Management , Finance and Banking and Accounting and Management Information System.
For the first three semesters, the students will be thought the basic economic concepts on Micro/Macroeconomics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Management, Marketing or Finance. The second part of the undergraduate level - the last three semesters will be focus on the particular specialization. The basic compulsory courses, common for the first three semesters are: Microeconomics, European Economy, Mathematics Applied in Economics, Management, Public, Macroeconomics, Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, Basic Accounting, Computer Science, Statistics, Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Basic Marketing, Data Base and Programming.For the last three semesters, the students will take the following courses: Management accounting, Advanced accounting, Theory and practice of financial statements, Financial control, Design of management information systems, Management control, Financial analysis, Credit institutions accounting, Applied accounting, Financial audit, Business evaluation, Public institutions accounting, Accounting deontology. Students have the possibility to study a foreign language (English, French, Italian, Spanish, German) adapted for business studies.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

A precondition for application is the recognition of the study certificates (high school, BA) by the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation. Our office can assist EU citizens in gettingthis recognition, by collecting and sending their files further to the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation. The application file must comprise the following documents:
* Certified copy of the following documents translated into Romanian/English/ French or German, in case the originals are not written in one of the languages mentioned above:
a) High-school graduation diploma
b) Transcript of Records for high-school studies
c) Birth certificate
d) Marriage certificate (if the applicant's last name changed subsequent to marriage)
* Medical certificate
* Passport copy
* Four passport-size photographs
* Application form
A compulsory entry requirement for each applicant is an English language certificate, which must be attached to the application form. The applicant not having such a certificate may achieve one after the application process, but not later than October 1, 2010.
Selection criteria
Candidates selection is made up according to the criteria:
a) High school average grade, as 80 % in the final admission grade ;
b) High school Graduation Exam grade, as 20 % in the final admission grade
Non-EU citizens:
Foreign applicants who want to enroll at Universitatea Babes-Bolyai as self
sponsored students have two choices:
1. Submit their documents to the Department of European Affairs and
International Relations within the Ministry of Education, Research and
Innovation (28-30, Gen. Berthelot Street, 010168 Bucharest, Romania, Phone
no: +40 21 405 62 00) until August 31st , 2009.
2. Submit their documents directly to Universitatea Babes-Bolyai, Centre for
International Cooperation (68 Avram Iancu St., 400083 Cluj-Napoca, Phone no:
+40 264 429 762 ext 6023).
The deadline for applications at Universitatea Babes-Bolyai is August 10th, 2009.
