Study objective
The tasks of the civil engineer of the future are many and of great social and political importance.
The aim of the study is therefore to train an application engineer, who is qualified, in theoretical and practical knowledge to solve the wide ranging responsibilities of civil engineers in society and the environment both independently and responsibly.
Through practical teaching, the training is based on scientific knowledge and methods. In the course of the study, students learn how to recognize the essential relationships of the knowledge areas on their own.
Basically, our civil engineers are empowered for engineering activities in all areas. This is achieved through a broad, qualified and multidisciplinary education.

The pre-requisite for a course of study at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences is the general qualification for university entrance, or rather the subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification.
