Production Engineering – (B.Eng.)

The study of production engineering at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences includes 7 semesters; whereas, the 6th semester is conducted as a practical one. The final Bachelor's thesis in the 7th semester can be taken concomitantly with a company.

With the successful completion of the Bachelor examination, the academic degree "Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng is.)" is awarded. Especially qualified graduates interested in research and development are given the opportunity to qualify for the Master's degree in Mechatronics at the University of Deggendorf.

This program is also offered as a dual study.

Vocational

The profession Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) covers a wide field of production technology.
After the construction of components, machinery, vehicles, equipment, etc., the production of goods through the use of appropriate production processes can be realized. This requires information and knowledge about the various manufacturing processes.

Only by understanding the interrelationships of production processes, manufacturing systems are designed in accordance with the requirements.
