Business goes beyond the single purpose of making money; it is about interaction, communication and exchange. In this sense, the field of business teaches the student about life and values.
In this program you will learn how to produce something of value, whether it is an idea, a good or a service, how to market it, and how to benefit in the form of profit and satisfaction. Our faculty will help you to develop the appropriate skills - conceptual, technical and human - with regard to your career and life.
The program is taught by a highly qualified faculty with professional business experience.
We also offer the program in a part-time study form suitable for students who are working full-time.
The Business Administration B.A. degree requires 210 credits and may be completed by full-time students in three and a half years. Graduates will receive the official title Bachelor of Arts.

Year abroad: Students have the possibility to gain one year of international experience by studying for one semester at one of over 60 partner universities in 28 countries extending from Australia to the United States, or a 20 week internship at a foreign enterprise of their choice.
Languages: Students are required to take at least three courses in one or more foreign languages such as Spanish, French or German.

The pre-requisite for a course of study at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences is the general qualification for university entrance, or rather the subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification. Admission to the Deggendorf University occurs yearly and is open until June 15th (end of application period). Students in higher semesters can also apply for a summer semester (end of application period: January 15th). Application for admission to the University of Applied Sciences Deggendorf must be fully completed and sent with the required documents so that they arrive by the respective closing dates. It is only possible to begin a course of study in the winter semester. In case a student wishes to change to a semester higher than the first semester, it is possible to apply for the summer semester. You have to apply online.
