The overall objective is to educate people to be able to create and realise ideas and new products, based on a sound engineering knowledge and business understanding. These talents are in strong demand, both from existing businesses and from those who dream of establishing their own business. We provide you with the fundamental principles of product development and allow you to specialise, without compromising a holistic business-driven perspective. The program includes a number of educational principles such as problem-based learning.
During the programme you learn to create and market products based on engineering and business expertise. Whether you want to work in an existing business or start your own, we provide you with the principles of product development.
You will become a member of a development team, who will work with every aspect of product innovation under the following headlines:

You will work in detail with User Centred Design, Product Software, Electronics, Mechanics, Mathematical Modelling, Business, Marketing and Economics.
1st and 2nd Semester: From idea to profitable business

The Mads Clausen Institute is capable of supporting the realisation of your ideas, and will help identifying investors and companies able to contribute to the process.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testThe B.Sc. (Eng) in Innovation and Business requires requires the Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate, the Higher Technical Examination ('HTX'), the Higher Commercial Examination ('HHX'), the Higher Preparatory Examination ('HF'), or the equivalent to one of the above mentioned.
Applicants must include information about the levels (O/A levels, IGCSE, GCE A-levels, Higher/Subsidiary level, number of hours, number of years of studying at school and university, and detailed course descriptions) in the subjects: mathematics (must be at highest level), physics and english (minimum at intermediate level).
Foreign students applying must have the IELTS-test with a minimum of 6.5 in the oral test and 6.5 in the overall test. (See for more information), or provide af TOEFL iBT with a 88 score or more. The TOEFL test result must be sent directly to the University of Southern Denmark institution number 7969.
Applicants from a country within the European Union or the EEA are not required to pass either an IELTS or a TOEFL test if they demonstrate knowledge of English corresponding with English at B level as a minimum.
The entry requirements can not be waived.
