Product Development and Innovation is a new and comprehensive bachelor of science in engineering programme that combines engineering skills such as mechanical construction, product manufacturing in global networks, knowledge of materials and technological processes and creative idea development with courses such as market analysis and product planning, innovation management and business know-how.

Combining Technology and Business Know-How

The interdisciplinarity of the programme ensures that you become a market oriented engineer who is able to handle many different types of the products of the future in which technology and business skills are combined - for example advanced household products, new sports and playground products and a series of industrial products.

You learn to see the development processes, which characterises today´s constantly growing global networks, in their entirety. You are able to work on all types of products - from iPods to windmills - either as a construction engineer or as the person who integrates the commercial and technological aspects.

With core competences in internationalisation and project management you are an attractive employee to companies on the international market.
