Event Engineering – (B.Eng.)

At today´s events increasingly complex and innovative technology is used. This requires specialists with a high degree of specialized knowledge in the areas of most up-to-date event technology. The academically trained "Event Engineer," will design, plan, calculate the event together with the artistic and commercial decision-makers and manage the preparation and execution of the technical team.

He / She is the technical and organizational decision-makers for all types of events. He / She works as an independent entrepreneur or as a Project Leader in a technically-oriented environment that requires a high proportion of creativity and communication. He / She is a specialist designer for the latest event technology in many areas, such as Stage Design, Audio, Video, Lighting and "Special Effects" as well as the contact person for event logistics and security. His / her clients include, among other fields Advertising and Event Agencies, Cultural and Sports Sectors as well as Convention Centres, Public Authorities and Organizers of large events. As academics with a scientific background, he / she will use research as well as technology and product development of new technologies and apply specialized solutions in the event.
