The International Business program is interdisciplinary. It prepares students for careers with multinational corporations, financial institutions with foreign operations or government agencies involved in international trade and finance. Graduates find career opportunities with international banks, multinational corporations or with other international organizations. Options include working for a foreign company abroad, working for an American company abroad, or working for an American company trading with another country. Attending graduate school to focus on a chosen field, in international business is also a possibility.
Degree Structure
Business Core Requirement: 42 credit hours
*International Business Concentration: 15 credit hours
Liberal Arts Requirement: 48 credit hours
Foreign Language Requirement: 12 credit hours (for students whose first language is English)
Electives: 3-15 credit hours
Total: 120 credit hours (minimum)

B.S.B.A. graduation requirements:
* IB Concentration must be completed in at three areas in addition to IB-200.
* IB requirement of 12 credit hours of a foreign language for students whose first language is English may be completed, in part, by replacement of 6 of the 12 credit hours of English.
* IB Concentration must be completed in residence at SLU/SLU-Madrid.
* Common Graduation Requirements: Final 30 degree credit hours along with 50% of required business course credit in (SLU/SLU-Madrid) University residence; a minimum GPA of 2.0 in total degree credits and, separately, in business course credit.
