Our four-year BSc Banking and Finance with a Modern Language enables you to become proficient in one or more modern languages, while gaining an academic training in the principles of banking and finance. As well as developing a good level of fluency and accuracy in your chosen language(s), you gain an understanding of the culture and society of the countries which use these languages. In particular, through your year abroad, you experience, engage with and integrate into another culture. This course also gives you the opportunity to analyse the financial and banking sectors, and equips you with an understanding of fundamental research. We produce graduates with the knowledge to start careers in the financial sector, in areas such as banking, stock broking, derivatives, insurance, and regulation.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
