BA English Literature enables you to undertake a special study of literary texts. This course offers a varied, flexible and distinctive curriculum focused on the study of English literature, encompassing several genres and periods including United States literature, European literature, Shakespeare and other dramatists, and twentieth-century literature.
Alongside your core modules in early modern literature and literary theory, we offer a range of optional modules that allow you to study areas of literature that are of interest to you. In your final year, you can opt to replace one of your taught modules with an independent study, which allows you to develop your own academic interests in depth.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
