Future experts and senior advisors in the EU agrifood, regional policy and governance sectors will need firsthand knowledge of business practice and cohesion and structural project formulation, management and implementation.

Besides changing as a consequence of market economy conditions, companies and national economies will increasingly adapt to EU regulations, and introduce harmonised policies, especially those driven by the influence of structural funds. These measures, both in the public and commercial sectors, require careful management. Professional Funds Managers will be key players in this dynamic process of change and adaptation.

Graduates will have first-hand knowledge of practice in one of the founding members of the EU, a country traditionally successful in the agrifood sector. Candidates will gain insight into the contrasts in business and social cultures existing between regions in Europe. Hands-on practice with EU funds projects is a key element, as well as first-hand knowledge of EU institutions, and the implementation of EU policies in member states in various stages of adaptation to common aims.
