IBMS is a broad management study programme in English, covering all aspects of international business and management.
IBMS prepares students for professional careers in international companies. Based on a combination of elements from the fields of marketing, sales, finance, and management, the programme has a special focus on international trade and commerce. Do you want to study in an international environment and gain practical experience at international companies? During this 4 year study programme you will work with classmates from all over the world. You will also have the opportunity to gain international experience through a placement (abroad), and a study-abroad semester at one of our partner universities. The profile of the IBMS student is based on competencies defined after intensive consultation with the business world and society concerning the knowledge, skills and attitude needed by future managers. The IBMS graduate is aware of international economic developments and the effects they have on the international organisation. Competent in intercultural leadership, analysis, creative problem solving, and planning, IBMS graduates are highly sought after around the world for positions such as Marketing Manager, Consultant, Area Manager, Financial Controller and Sales Manager.

IBMS offers three in-depth minors (Finance & Accounting, Logistics Management and Marketing Management) and two broadening minors (International Decision Making & Human Judgement and International Human Resource Management). At RBS level there are four other broadening minors: (Doing business in) Emerging Markets, International Sustainable Development & Leadership, International Business Communication and Latin American Studies.
