Location of Yasar University

Students take courses which cover the whole process of software development, including the requisites of engineering, software design, testing, maintenance, configuration management and quality assurance. The fundamental courses of engineering and basic computer science are also taught. Students have flexibility in choosing their elective courses, according to their specific interests. These can be from the computer, electronics or industrial engineering departments, as well as from the software engineering department. The taught course work focuses on practical applications of theoretical concepts. In addition to the requirements of the course, students must complete an in-service industrial training (minimum of 20 working days) during their studies. Students should also work on a senior project and submit a project report for graduation.

Funding details

Yasar University offers an annual scholarship of 1500 USD to all full-time international undergraduate students, who register to faculty at the university. The tuition fee is therefore 7500USD for all first year international students. The continuation of this scholarship in each following academic year is dependent on the student achieving a minimum GPA score of 2.50.

Tuition fees also include membership to the university library and sports facilities, an assigned academic advisor, support classes in Turkish, graduate bench fees, as well as access to the campus and IT facilities 24/7. Payment of fees should be made by bank transfer in one or two installments, as outlined in the registration instructions. Fees at Yasar University are subject to review on an annual basis in line with currency fluctuations.
