Location of Yasar University
The courses that included in Economics Department of Yasar University cover; general economics, macro-micro economics, public finance, labour economics, international economics and globalization issues, econometrics and economic thought. The program leading to the Bachelor degree in Economics is English and aims to give them a mass communication attitude.
The Economics Department of Yasar University consider its teaching to be three fault; first to present to students the basic theoretical framework and tools of economic analysis, economic behaviour, facts and institutional material which will assist the undergraduate students as civic leaders. Second, to introduce students majoring in the field of economics to the various sector studies within economics. This education and training along with extensive work in micro and macro economics and calculus for economist, is intended to introduce the students in a problem solving attitude and analyze economic affair. Thirdly, to supply the competitive professional economist in industry, commerce, government and professional education.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Funding details
Yasar University offers an annual scholarship of 1500 USD to all full-time international undergraduate students, who register to faculty at the university. The tuition fee is therefore 7500USD for all first year international students. The continuation of this scholarship in each following academic year is dependent on the student achieving a minimum GPA score of 2.50.
Tuition fees also include membership to the university library and sports facilities, an assigned academic advisor, support classes in Turkish, graduate bench fees, as well as access to the campus and IT facilities 24/7. Payment of fees should be made by bank transfer in one or two installments, as outlined in the registration instructions. Fees at Yasar University are subject to review on an annual basis in line with currency fluctuations.
