The four-year undergraduate program in Graphic Design provides an integrated, interdisciplinary track for students that is compiled to stimulate creativity, strengthen communication skills, and provide training both in traditional and technological concepts. The program begins with foundation courses in two and three dimensional design, the use of color, drawing, photography and computer applications, as well as background courses in art and design history. This foundation level is followed by sequenced classes incorporating the design studios, and including such areas as desktop publishing, drawing, design, typography, interactive design and animation. Students create their own projects typically in such areas as electronic media, logos, brochures, posters, label and package designs. They are also introduced to the theory and practice of mass communication and advertising. Throughout their time at university, students are encouraged to undertake further study and gain work experience, by participating in competitions, sponsored projects and internships.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Funding details
Yasar University offers an annual scholarship of 1500 USD to all full-time international undergraduate students, who register to faculty at the university. The tuition fee is therefore 7500USD for all first year international students. The continuation of this scholarship in each following academic year is dependent on the student achieving a minimum GPA score of 2.50.
Tuition fees also include membership to the university library and sports facilities, an assigned academic advisor, support classes in Turkish, graduate bench fees, as well as access to the campus and IT facilities 24/7. Payment of fees should be made by bank transfer in one or two installments, as outlined in the registration instructions. Fees at Yasar University are subject to review on an annual basis in line with currency fluctuations.
