Location of Saxion University of Applied Sciences
The Entrepreneurship study program at Saxion University of Applied Sciences is the course for young people who are interested in running their own business or want to be a entrepreneurial manager. Your background is not necessarily an entrepreneurial family, yet if you want to become a self employed entrepreneur, or intend to take over a company, the Entrepreneurship course is the perfect course for you.
Also if you would like to work as an entrepreneurial manager, you will lay a solid foundation at this study program. The practice-oriented concept of the Entrepreneurship program offers you unlimited scope for entering the market well-prepared. On succesful completion of this course you will be awarded with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Career prospects
Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurial people can be found in various lines of business and positions. As a self-employed starter or via a takeover in the line of business of their choice, like ICT or fashion, but also in trade or industry. Furthermore, students have found their place on the labour market as an entrepreneurial manager of a supermarket or department store, buyer at a buyers'combine, business account manager at a bank and consultant are only a few examples.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

For all Saxion pathways the following general entry requirements are necessary:
- The student must demonstrate that they have the ability, motivation and determination to successfully complete the course;
- The student must be admissible to Higher Education through a diploma of secondary education/high school diploma with good results such as for Dutch students VWO, HAVO or MBO and for foreign students diplomas which are equivalent to e.g. the German Abitur (algemeine Hochschulreife), the British GCE A-levels or (I) GCSE grades A, B or C, the French Baccalaureat or the American High School (top stream or plus 1 year's college);
- The student must have sufficient English language skills for the specific course.
The students´ qualifications will be assessed by the Admission Officer of the specific Course on the basis of provided Diplomas, Curriculum Vitae, a letter of motivation and if necessary an Intake Interview.
English language proficiency
For Both Bachelor and Master Courses the entry requirement is an Academic IELTS of 6.0 or an equivalent in another language test (TOEFL 550, etc.).
Next to that, to join the final year Entrepreneurship, the following requirements are necessary:
- 180ECTS or completed bachelor degree in the field of Commerce for the specialisation Small and Medium Entreprises Management or Marketing.
- A completed practical placement or bachelor thesis for both specializations.
