Global Business Engineering is a full-degree bachelor programme taught in English. During studies you will prepare for an international career by combining science, technology, languages, communication, culture, economics and international marketing.
As a graduate, you can look forward to excellent employment prospects worldwide. You are likely to find job opportunities within design and implementation of technical solutions as well as within marketing and sales. Typically, you may work as a project manager, a consulting engineer or as an export or sales manager.
The comprehensive 4½-year programme prepares you well for a career in business and industry. You will not just learn through theory but profit from hands-on experience via workshops and project work. Also the interaction between Danish and international students combined with further studies and work placements inside and outside of Denmark will give you invaluable professional and cultural experience before graduating. This means that you can leave with the confidence that you have already gained part of the practical experience employers are looking for.
The faculty is located in Campus Horsens, and as of September 2010 you may also study in Aarhus.
The duration of the programme is 9 semesters full time and the programme includes studies outside of Denmark (5th semester) and a work placement (7th semester). CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

PROGRAMME CONTENT AND STRUCTURE
The programme covers 9 semesters and includes a study period abroad during the 5th semester (visit for more information on our partnership institutions) and a work placement period during the 7th semester. The programme consists of approximately one-third of business and language subjects combined with two-thirds of engineering subjects. There are some core modules, but depending on your individual wishes, you may choose a number of electives to create your own individual profile.
The curriculum is built around themes which lead to the following four profiles:
o Global Business Development Profile
Industry analysis, competitor analysis, business development, logistics, international project management, management, market communication, e-business, international investment and finance.
o Innovation and Product Design
Design, materials science, finite element calculation, innovation processes, entrepreneurship, customer relations, market analysis and business economics.
o Information Technology & Production Management
Logistics, value chain management, resource planning, production control, database systems and systems development.
o Intelligent Mechanics and Systems
IT, electrical engineering, automatic control systems, advanced mechanics and dynamics.
IELTS
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Applicants must have an IELTS score of minimum 6.5. Students having IELTS score of 6.5 will have to attend a supplementary course in English while students having a score of 7.0 will be exempted from the English language course.
For information about credit transfer from a previous or current education, please contact us. Credit transfer is certainly possible, but it requires an individual assessment.
