The Vitality and Tourism Management programme has an international orientation, with courses in Management, Vitality and Wellness, Sports, Health, Spa and Hospitality. In the first two years of the study programme, you will work on projects in which you analyze and solve professional problems. Each project is accompanied by theoretical lectures and practical training in marketing, entrepreneurship, hospitality and human resources management, for example. Right from the start, you will get a lot of practical experience through work experience in companies in the vitality and tourism sectors.
The Bachelor programme Vitality & Tourism Management offers an international environment, based on education in the fields of Management, Vitality and Wellness, Sports, Health, Spa and Hospitality. As a V&TM student, you will get an extensive chance to profile and specialize yourself. You will also learn to judge your own functioning and assess your own actions with respect to sustainability, safety and ethics.
To be thoroughly prepared for your future job, you will work on concrete practical assignments during your studies. In the first two years you carry out projects, for which you analyze and solve professional problems. Each project is embedded in theoretical lectures and training, e.g. marketing, entrepreneurship, hospitality and human resource management. Right from the start, you acquire ample practical experience by working in businesses related to your study programme.
In the third year you can choose for specializing with a minor course. Then you carry out a business case and a research project in a real-life context and in the final year you have to apply for a work placement place in a company or organization. There, you carry out a real-life research project, which must be essential for the improvement of the performance or quality of the company or organization.
The primary aim of the work placement period is to prepare you for your professional career by means of a work experience in your field of study.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
