Ca’ Foscari is launching in 2008 a new undergraduate course in Economics and Management, entirely taught in English, of the duration of three years.
The course is aimed at providing high quality education to international students and Italian students interested in an international curriculum and high standards of teaching. Enrolment will be starting in july 2008.
The Faculty has a relevant international experience and it is committed to high level research. Ca’ Foscari is positioned in the IDEAS ranking of institutions as the second among Italian Economics Faculties.
The Bachelor of International Economics and Management, which is taught entirely in English, allows students to understand and analyze these dynamics through a solid preparation focused on the enterprises and private and public institutions which operate at the international level, and particularly in the European Union:

The educational activities include classroom teaching, workshops and internships (even abroad), in order to acquire wide-ranging skills that can be readily transferable into the world of work. During the whole university career, the various skills acquired will be assessed through written and oral examinations.
The degree exam consists in writing a paper/thesis, that will be evaluated through methods similar to those of a written exam but not in the presence of the student. Should the supervisor deem the oral discussion of the thesis to be necessary, he/she may require it.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
More informationTo be admitted to this First Cycle Degree Programme a five-year-secondary school diploma, or any other qualification gained abroad and recognised by the university, is required.
As for admission to the curriculum in Economics and Management (English-taught programme) a call requiring applications to be submitted by appropriate online procedures will be issued. In order to attend the relevant courses, a good knowledge of English, certified at B1 level (the list of the official language certification bodies can be found in the call), as well as of the fundamental logical and mathematical tools, are required. Such knowledge of mathematics will be assessed through an entry test that will be held in English on September 2nd, 2011.
