In Retail Design & Management you will learn to design, fit up and manage stores within the fashion and lifestyle sectors. You will work with trends and consumer behaviour making you able to aim the store concept and image at the target group. You will gain experience of analysing the market and interpreting the results so that you learn how to transfer this knowledge to an improved sale. In addition you learn to transfer the core values and concept of the store right through to the employees so that the relation between idea and implementation is clear and distinctive.
A BA in Desing and Business: Retail Desing and Management consists of:
2 years (AP-degree) + 1½ years (BA-degree) = BA in Retail Design and Business
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testIn order to be admitted to the AP + BA top up in Design and Business: Retail Design and Management, you need to have completed one of the following courses:
* General upper secondary education
* International or European Baccalaureate
* High school in the USA/Canada + at least one year of university/college
* At least two years of relevant studies from universities in Africa, India, Pakistan and countries with a similar educational system
* Other relevant courses
Students who have completed the first year of a bachelor's degree can also apply.
In addition you need to have a valid internationally recognized English test such as IELTS, TOFEL etc. The following scores are required:
* IELTS 6.0
* TOEFL IBT 80
* Cambridge CAE C1
* TESA (Test of English for studies Abroad) B2
* Oxford Online Placement Test
Students from the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Iceland, Finland, Belgium, UK, US, Canada as well as students who have taken their admission diploma (Secondary school, high school etc.) in English do not need an English test.
