In Purchasing Management - Fashion you will learn to work with purchasing and sourcing on the global market. You will be able to make an estimate of the financial and logistical parts of a company in the fashion and lifestyle sectors and to handle both the internal and external negotiations.
Throughout the education you will acquire a basic knowledge of commercial and financial theories and you will learn how to put into practice the business concept and strategy of a company in an international market. You will also acquire knowledge of the materials related to the fashion industry which the products are made of. In this way you will have an advantage in negotiations and decision-making. In addition you will learn about the legal and cultural factors in a global industry. Finally you will be able to communicate practice-oriented issues and suggested solutions to business partners.

In order to be admitted to the AP+top BA in Design and Business: Purchasing Management, you need to have completed one of the following courses:
* General upper secondary education
* International or European Baccalaureate
* High school in the USA/Canada + at least one year of university/college
* At least two years of relevant studies from universities in Africa, India, Pakistan and countries with a similar educational system
* Other relevant courses
Students who have completed the first year of a bachelor's degree can also apply. In addition you need to have a valid internationally recognized English test such as IELTS, TOFEL etc. The following scores are required: * IELTS 6.0

* Cambridge CAE C1
* TESA (Test of English for studies Abroad) B2
* Oxford Online Placement Test
Students from the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Iceland, Finland, Belgium, UK, US, Canada as well as students who have taken their admission diploma (Secondary school, high school etc.) in English do not need an English test.Furthermore students are required to make an admission assignment.
