This is a vibrant programme that looks at drama through both theory and practice and engages with the community through our community projects and drama in education. Students have the opportunity to acquire performance, technical and writing skills and throughout the programme engage in theatre making as writers, technicians, directors and performers.
Courses range widely from those that study dramatic literature and history to those that engage with specific performance skills, such as playwriting and devising. Drama enhances vital skills of communication, self-discipline, research and creative teamwork - all increasingly valued by employers in a wide range of graduate employment.

* To develop a range of practical skills, including acting, technical theatre and playwriting
