This programme leads to the eventual award by the University of Greenwich of a BSc Hons in a chosen speciality. Specialities include biosciences (focusing on biological sciences, medical biochemistry and molecular biology, or medical physiology); biomedical sciences; human nutrition; sports science; pharmaceutical sciences and chemistry.
This programme is intended to provide coherent progression into year 1 of the BSc Hons degree programmes offered by the School of Science. It has been designed for people who have successfully completed A-levels (or their equivalent) but in a subject area outside the science specialism in which they would like to study. It is also for suitably qualified mature students who may not possess the appropriate A-level qualifications.

Assessment
Students are assesseed through exams and coursework.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

PLUS at least three GCSEs at grade C or above (including English and mathematics) or equivalent qualifications.
Language skills
If English is not your first language, you will need to provide proof of your fluency in English before you can begin a programme. The main systems for measuring this are IELTS with a minimum score of 6.0 for degree programmes or TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 for degree programmes. Recently the TOEFL computer-based test has been abolished to make way for the introduction of the Internet-based test, gradually eliminating the traditional paper-based method. Other qualifications may be satisfactory. We can tell you what is acceptable.
