International Logistics: Management and Engineering – (B.Sc.)

Over the last decades trade has increased faster as the world economy because business and production processes have become increasingly global and networked. The need for more efficient management of supply chains, its production facilities and transport has intensified the demand for people whose formal education includes both management and engineering. The modularized program International Logistics Management and Engineering teaches students about the procurement, production, distribution, material handling, personnel, equipment, and facilities vital to modern-day international business.

Whereas the first year provides an overview over the fundamentals of logistics and basic knowledge in formal methods, management and engineering, students will be introduced to more details in engineering and management from the second year onwards. Therefore, the students - besides mandatory courses, which focus on the basic skills in logistics - have to select a certain number of modules in each of the specializations (i.e. management and engineering) in the second and third year in order to establish their own individual competence profile. Students of the International Logistics study program will graduate with a Bachelor of Science (BSc).
