Business Administration Intensive Track – (B.Sc.)

Our B.Sc. in Business Administration (Intensive Track) can be completed in just 6 semesters, and starts in the autumn. During the first 4 semesters students cover the basic principles of business administration. One semester is then spent studying abroad; students also complete an internship during this period.

On the Intensive Track course, each semester spent studying in Germany is worth 36 credits (6 modules). The period of study abroad is worth 20 credits, and the internship (usually lasting 8 weeks) is worth 10 credits. For the Intensive Track degree course, a minimum of 480 hours is required in order to obtain proof of experience certificates. So our Intensive Track option means you complete the degree course sooner, but the 6-semester learning curve is steeper.

About one third of the course is devoted to intensive study of financial topics. Another third concentrates on the basic principles and concepts of economics and quantitative analysis methodology. You also spend time learning foreign languages and studying communication techniques.
Management modules represent the third element in the course, covering important subjects such as accounting, marketing, organizational management and leadership during the basic study phase. In later semesters, these subjects are examined in more detail in the Advanced Study and international modules. Towards the end of the degree course, you write a Bachelor’s thesis on a specific finance or management topic.
