This program is designed for working adults with several years of organizational experience. It offers specialized courses in the various phases of pricing, promoting, and distributing products or services to the consumer. Classes are taught by working professionals who bring professional expertise as well as academic competence to the program.
In addition to the six courses in marketing, the program includes three requisite courses in accounting, economics, and management. A certificate in marketing is issued on successful completion of the program with C or better in all courses and an overall GPA of 2.5.
A student may not complete both a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing and a certificate in marketing.
To start an undergraduate certificate program, a minimum of 18 credit hours (36 EC) of coursework earned at Webster University is required. Courses fulfilling the requirements of a certificate program may also be used to satisfy the requirements of a major, but not of another certificate program.

These courses must be taken in residence at Webster University.

IELTS
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Admission is contingent upon submission of the following:
* A completed application form and a non-refundable €40.00 fee (Webster bank info here)
* Official transcripts of all your secondary and post-secondary education with certified English translations of all documents in languages other than English.
* If you have CLEP, Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate (IB) credit, we also need official test scores or transcripts of all work completed.
* A one-page essay on "Why I want to study at an international university."
* Two letters of reference from teachers and/or employers.
* Satisfactory scores on the TOEFL examination. Click here for TOEFL request registration.
* Copy of your passport
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (out of 4.0) on all previous academic work.
NOTE: Though it is not required for admission, if you have taken the SAT or ACT, we would like to have your official scores so we can advise you better on your course selections during your first year.
Admission Interview and Sample Classes
Candidates considering applying are encouraged to schedule an intake interview with a representative from the admissions office. It is also recommended that prospective students attend a regularly scheduled class to speak with current students, meet a faculty member and gain first-hand experience in the Webster learning environment.

Accreditation
Webster University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association, 312-263-0456,
The accreditation, which was awarded in 1925, includes undergraduate and graduate levels at all locations where the University offers programs.
Webster Gains NVAO Accreditation
Webster University Leiden is happy to announce that two Bachelor programs, being International Business & Management Studies and Psychology have been accredited by the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Agency NVAO and can now be found in the Centraal Register Opleidingen Hoger Onderwijs (CROHO) on the website of the IB-Groep.
Having been officially recognized by the Dutch Ministry of Education as an "approved" ("aangewezen") institute of higher education under Dutch Law (WHW) and registered under "brinnummer" 29WF earlier this year, Webster is now fully integrated into the Dutch system of higher education as well as the American.
The accreditation covers the Webster Bachelor program in International Business & Management Studies and Psychology. These programs are offered as a dual degree program in which students can obtain both a Dutch University of Applied Science Bachelor degree and an American BA or BS.
Students from the Netherlands and other qualified students in the IBMS or ABSS program will now be able to benefit from Dutch financial aid and study loan facilities "studiefinanciering").

* Only the St. Louis Campus' legal studies B.A., M.A. and Paralegal Certificates are approved by the American Bar Association.
* The nurse anesthesia program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) of nurse anesthesia educational programs.
* Education programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Other International Recognitions China: The Webster University MBA program, offered in partnership with the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, is officially approved by and recognized by the Ministry of Education in China.
Thailand: Webster University in Thailand is an accredited, private university by the Thailand Ministry of Education under Thai law.
Austria: Webster University in Vienna is a accredited by the Austrian Ministry for Education and Culture as a private university under Austrian law.
