Mechatronics & Microsystems Engineering / Mechatronik & Mikrosystemtechnik – (B.Eng.)

The first part of your studies focuses on the basic natural and engineering sciences, such as mathematics, physics, technical mechanics, design and electrical engineering. In the second year of studies you deepen your knowledge of the technical subjects and practically apply the knowledge you gained during the laboratory and project phases. In the third year, an internship phase is planned during which you already work in an engineering capacity in a company. This is concluded by a dissertation as final examination. After successfully completing the dissertation, with colloquium, you are awarded the degree

The degree programme commences in winter semester only. Prerequisites are a university admission qualification as well as a 13-week internship, taking place apart from the curriculum and enabling students to acquire basic technical know-how. 8 Weeks of this internship must be completed before the commencement of studies and proof of this is to be submitted on application.
