The module 'Retail Assignment' will provide you with a unique opportunity to discover your entrepeneurial flair as well as practising the knowledge and skills you have gained from previous years study.

The 'Retail Assignment' is both challenging and exciting, involving the creation on an active trading retail outlet. Personal skills such as teamwork and communication will be tested as you create a unique retail outlet for real customers in a live retail setting. This is a genuine opportunity to put everything you have learned together.

In the past, students have 'set up shop' in the prestigious Princes Square and the busy St. Enoch Centre.

Strong links with industry also mean there is an opportunity for work placements that often lead to employment opportunities for graduates.

Many of our graduates have secured jobs across the retail sector in fashion, grocery and events. Recent graduates have been employed in graduate training programmes at Harrods, Zara, Tesco and Marks & Spencer. Others have secured positions as buyers, home shopping managers and merchandisers in the UK, Europe and beyond.
