Aimed at anyone who wants to follow a health-related career, this new course will help you develop your knowledge and awareness of this challenging area. This is a very broad-based degree, covering many different areas of health and society, and giving you a wide-ranging understanding - everything from the impact of medical conditions to public health awareness.

This degree programme is invaluable in preparing you for work - not simply because of the information you learn, but because of the information you learn, but because it develops an approach on life-long learning. So, in the first two years of this four-year course, you'll focus on understanding ideas and theories about academic development, as well as subjects such as psycho-social influences and human physiology.

As a result, you'll learn as much about learning itself as about healthcare issues. After all, the world of health care provision is always changing, and successful professionals understand that they need to constantly update their knowledge.

When you graduate, you will understand the ways in which health and health care have developed, as well as the key issues for working in a health care environment. Just as importantly, you will have an appreciation of the various social groups you may encounter. All in all, this is a degree that will give y ou an excellent start in a wide range of careers.
