The study program provides fundamental knowledge and laboratory skills in biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, bioanalytical methods and food chemistry. Graduate is familiar with hygiene and health prevention, toxicology, fermentation and food technology, fundamentals of biotechnology, human nourishment and information technology. A part of the study program is focused on laboratory research practice in a particular area. Bachelors' degree student will get an appropriate qualification for further Master studies, and they may be employed in the fields of the biotechnology or food industry, science and marketing areas.
