Location of EAC Group - Artistic and Cultural Engineering

Our national heritage abounds with works of art. France has always been a leading nation in the artistic marketplace.

It draws merchants from across the world and generates major sales figures.

Here, grand fairs such as the Biennale des Antiquaires, FIAC, and Maison et Objets are held. Television networks now dedicate more and more programming to cultural heritage and lifestyle. Galleries are no longer strictly family businesses handed down through the generations. In short, the artistic marketplace has undergoneprofound and permanent changes.

Sotheby's, Christie's, and other large international auction houses have become firmly rooted in France by incorporating art market professionals. New appraisal and consulting firms as well as estate management and insurance companies are being founded, while websites dedicated to art are appearing before our eyes. The home decoration sector is blooming; lifestyle magazines are garnering widespread readership; and decorative arts are taking an ever-greater place in the home. This economic expansion is giving those with dualtraining in art and economics a decided edge in the job market.

EAC Group helps propel its students onto the professional scene. An EAC diploma assures they will be recognized and respected as highly competent specialists and valuable professional correspondents by gallery owners, antiquarians, merchants, auctioneers, curators, and business leaders.

Nearly 28OO companies and counting have recruited our students into a wide range of fields in the market for art, cultural heritage, and decoration. They include galleries, antiquarians, experts, export/import companies, decorators, designers, artist associations, communications agencies, high-end real estate agencies, as well as museums and event planning agencies.

The EAC Group has forged a broad array of partnerships, including professional centers such as the Reunion of National Museums (RMN), the Association for Historic French Homes (VMF), the Association of Private Historical Monuments (DH), and the Center for National Monuments (CMN); professional organizations such as the Syndicate of Auction Houses (SYMEV), the National Syndicate of Antiques Dealers (SNA), the National Syndicate for Antique and Second-hand Sales and for Contemporary and Modern Art Galleries (SNCAO), and the Drouot auction house. EAC also works with major cultural establishments such as the Grand Louvre, the “104” production venue, Musée d’Orsay, and the Arab World Institute (IMA), as well as major artistic events such as FIAC, Paris

Photo, Art Paris, Biennale de Lyon, and Biennale des Antiquaires, and international networks and organizations such as Internet Society, the Alliance Française, embassies and consulates, Sotheby's, and Christie's, etc.

With sites in Paris and Lyon, the EAC Group is a known and respected presence in the cultural sector. Its unique Art Market Manager program is the only degree of its kind recognized by the French government as offering the highest level of postgraduate professional certification in the art market. The EAC Group is renowned for its intellectual liveliness. Its students have a reputation for excellence. These two factors are a driving force behind the vibrant community that has grown up around the EAC Group, which is made up of alumni, professors, and partners.
