Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

All applicants should normally as a minimum have an upper secondary school leaving exam preferably in a subject relevant for the programme they are applying for. For some countries outside EU applicants also need 1-2 years of college or university studies.

In general students need to have good marks and on some programmes there are specific requirements for their marks in e.g. mathematics. Applicants must have the exams deemed relevant by the Danish Agency for International Education under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

If you wish UCN to consider an alternative English level, you may apply to the International Office for approval. However, for applicants from outside Europe we only accept the IELTS or TOEFL English test.
