Location of Business Academy Aarhus

The AP degree programme in Environmental Management is targeted towards students who want to work with environmental issues.

The programme may also be important for students who want a solid foundation for further education – in Denmark or abroad.

The purpose of the education is to make graduates qualified to work independently with analysis, planning and implementation of solutions concerning both national and international environments. Specialization is offered.


Contents

The AP degree programme in Environmental Management is a full-time study lasting for 2 years.

The programme comprises 4 main elements:

1. Compulsory subject areas: International

  • Studies, Human Resource Development
  • and Communication, Business Studies,
  • Biological and environmental subjects.

2. Compulsory profile, focused on

  • environmental biology and nature-given and
  • economic conditions for environmental management in a global perspective.

3. Specialization according to the individual student’s interests.
4. Main project.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

Non-Danish students must apply for admission on the same terms as Danish students. They are eligible for admission if they hold either a Danish qualifying examination or qualifications recognized or assessed as being comparable to the Danish entrance qualifications.

In order to be admitted to the international programmes students must, in particular, have good and documented qualifications in:

  1. Non-Danish students qualify for admission if they hold either a Danish qualifying examination or qualifications recognized or assessed as being comparable to the Danish entrance qualifications.
  2. Furthermore they must have good and well documented qualifications in English (e.g. TOEFL or IELTS tests) and Mathematics.

Specific requirements for all foreign applicants

In order to be admitted to the international programmes students must, in particular, have good and documented qualifications in:

  • IELTS: 6.0
  • TOEFL Internet based: 80
  • TOEFL Computer based: 213
  • TOEFL Paper based: 550
  • Cambridge test: CAE
  • TOEIC: 700
  • Michigan Test: 75%

Excepted from this rule are all applicants holding Nordic entrance exams or applicants holding comparable certificates of English language skills at intermediate or advanced level.
