In September 2011 Business Academy Aarhus will offer its new Bachelor’s programme in Agricultural and Environmental Management. The programme is a top-up programme for Environmental Management graduates, and after completing the 18 months long programme you will obtain a Bachelor’s degree.
You will strengthen your competences within the agricultural and environmental fields and be better able to plan, develop, and communicate aspects of your topic. You have the option to specialise within the fields of e.g. biology, chemistry, economics, or law. You will be able to deal with problems of a very high complexity in jobs within management, consultancy, or administration. With a wide and up-to-date knowledge you will be able to match the challenging conditions of the agricultural and environmental market and at the same time be able to contribute to the development and progress within the subject area.
Contents
The programme consists of three semesters of twenty weeks each. This comprises a compulsory part common to all, a specialisation module, specialisation subjects, an internship and a Bachelor’s project. With the compulsory part you are sure to acquire basic knowledge within e.g. management, strategy, communication and sales. You can choose to specialise in Biology or Agricultural Finance. Each line of specialisation comprises a number of specialisation subjects.
With your particular combination of line of specialisation and specialisation subjects you are certain to acquire specialised knowledge and qualifications within your particular field of interest.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

The Bachelor’s top-up programme in in Agricultural and Environmental Management is designed to be a direct top-up possibility to the AP degree in Environmental Management. Therefore, in order to be admitted to the programme, you must have completed the AP degree.
If you have not completed an AP degree in Environmental Management, you will be assessed on your actual competences. Please note that focus will be on the same subject areas as at the Environmental Management programme. See the curriculum of Environmental Managment to find out if your profile matches the admission requirements.
If your background is other than a Danish AP degree, you must also meet our requirements of an officially approved English test.
