The ILM Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management has been designed to help participants develop a wide range of middle management and leadership skills.
This course is the first of a two stage process, designed to take students onwards towards an Honours Degree course. Successful completion of both stages will qualify candidates to apply for a one year BA course. These Diplomas – levels 4 and 5 – aim to develop a wide range of leadership and middle management skills. They enable learners to have significant impact on their organisations performance. They cover fundamental and essential management and Knowledge skills such as being able to assess and improve your performance as a leader, and lead organisational innovation and change.

- M4.14 Learning through complex workplace activities
- M4.15 Managing personal professional development
Assessment
A mixture of work based assignments, reflective reviews, leadership development plan, reflective log and centre devised assessments.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be either practising or aspiring middle managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.
