Location of University of Silesia in Katowice
The aim of the undergraduate programme is to provide students with
a firm and comprehensive knowledge in physics, which will enable them to continue
their education at the graduate level and to work in fields requiring application of
high-tech equipment.
On completion of the programme, the graduate is provided with:
– basic knowledge in physics and its applications as well as in mathematics,
– ability to present physical concepts in speaking and writing,
– ability to use theoretical and experimental tools to solve practical problems,
– ability to build, develop and apply the mathematical models necessary in physical
applications,
– skill to accumulate and process data,
– capability to gain deeper knowledge of physics as well as mathematics,
– basis to take up postgraduate studies or do research in industry.
IELTS
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

qualification to apply for admission to any type of higher education studies in the
country of origin translated into Polish or English by a sworn translator;
* a certificate of English language competence or a certificate of completion of a
secondary school where classes were taught in English
